Carlin and Evan Stewart just made a big announcement. They are expecting their second child! The doting parents of Layla Stewart, who turns two in January, unveiled the news today. You can read all the details on the UPtv website. They haven't yet told fans the exact due date, just that the baby is set to arrive in 2022. This reveal comes six days after Erin and Chad Paine shared that Erin is pregnant with their fifth little one.

ReplyDeleteI know they had at least 1 miscarriage after Layla so i don't think its where they intentionally " waited" this long after Layla.
Delete8:42 - I follow Carlin on social media and she has never said anything about a miscarriage. She did say she wanted to wait for Layla’s heart issues to get better before trying for a 2nd baby.

ReplyDeleteI watched Carlin's YouTube video about this. I have to say it was ridiculous. What does she want from Layla? That girl is still a baby. I'm sorry but I think they are obsessed with having babies. We all know this is true of this family (and of another too). Grow up first, then become a parent.

It’s okay to have a large family, it’s okay to have no kids, it’s okay to have them in your early 20s, it’s okay to have them in your late 30’s. And about Layla still being a baby, she’ll be over 2 years old when that baby is born, they have waited a lot more than most Bates, it’s a very normal age gap. And maybe Carlin is a bit immature for a few things, but she does know how to take care of kids and being a parent, don’t forget you learn it together with your child and she has had little siblings to help take care of her whole life, so just let her be, she’s a good parent. Nowadays people always criticize every little of somebody else’s life.

DeleteIf you don’t like what the Bates are doing stop watching them live their lives. They can do whatever they want and if they want kids they can have them. If they want their kids to be excited about new babies they can get them excited. You are the one who should grow up and stop reading and commenting on a family you think is stupid for what they do in life.
DeleteI watched it too. Carlin has always been "extra" so I don't think she is putting on a show - it is just her personality. I prefer the way Erin and Chad announced but it comes down to personalities and maturity.
DeleteLayla is her little sidekick, going where Mom goes. Of course Carlin's going to talk to her and share her excitement even though she knows Laula doesn't understand what she's talking about. That is very natural behavior.

I’m so happy for them. I really love to see all the babies being born. But we need to be praying for Michaela and that the Lord would give them a little baby either through adoption or pregnancy. She and Brandon would make wonderful parents!❤️ But yes, very happy for Carlin and Evan and Layla🙏‼️.

DeleteI used to think the same thing, but I realize now she does have a good head on her shoulders. She is just a happy person. She likes to have fun, share joy with others and love her family. She and Evan are very "cute" and it does seem over the top, but in the world today, it's nice to see people like them and the rest of the Bates family. They are more enjoyable and entertaining than the Duggars ever were. I do however enjoy following some of the Duggars.

ReplyDeleteI am so happy for the Stewarts as well as the Paines. Karlin and Evan are just starting their family. If they can do it and support their family, more power to them! I know they make money from the show, but I see all of them out doing their own jobs, having their own businesses, doing good in the world. How many children they wish to have is between them and God. I'm especially happy for Erin and Chad because of the problems she had when they first started their family. To see their children growing and happy is a joy.
