As we shared yesterday, Nathan Bates and Esther Keyes were married yesterday afternoon at the Star Barn in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Fox News has the exclusive, as well as a stunning photo of the bride and groom. They each made their own very fitting grand entry to the event, which was attended by approximately 350 friends and family members.
Congratulations to Nathan and Esther ❤!! Sounds like it was a beautiful wedding 😀. So happy for them!
ReplyDeleteMO- Just beautiful! The bride and groom looked so happy and the description of the wedding sounded so nice. The Keyes really know how to put on a classy event. Best Wishes! :o)
ReplyDeleteAgree, the wedding looked gorgeous and served a proper meal! How did her Menenite sisters feel? We’re they in her wedding party?
DeleteCongratulations Nathan and Esther on your wedding day. May god bless you both with many more years to come
ReplyDeleteCongratulation To Nathan and Esther, has watch this family since the show started and hope for more seasons
ReplyDeleteCongratulations you two!!
ReplyDeleteI hope they don't read the ridiculous and insulting comments below the article!!
JennyH -I don’t see any ridiculous or insulting comments.
DeleteA beautiful photo. I am so excited for Ester and Nathan. The wedding sounds classic and beautiful. All sounds classic except the parachuting. Sure am hoping they will allow a lot of pictures and video to be shared with us, their TV family. May God bless Ester and Nathan will a long and happy life together.
ReplyDeleteJust loving her princess look! So beautiful, and the wedding sounds lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove that you two had a proper wedding! May the love you feel today be with you always!
ReplyDeleteAnd how changed the Bates have come with Lawson and Tiff living and traveling together! Enjoy Italy!
Define a “proper” wedding.
Delete7:11 Just curious, what's your criteria for a "proper" wedding- jumping out of an airplane like Nathan and a horse-drawn carriage for the bride? It stands to reason that weddings are entirely a subjective matter and depends on the wants and wishes of the couple involved. The particulars and details of the affair are no one else's business.
DeleteAs opposed to getting married in a courthouse? All of them have had proper weddings.
DeleteI don't believe the couple would live together since in the Christian world that isn't acceptable! They are chaperoned everywhere they go, even Italy.
DeleteClarification-proper reception! Actual sit down meal!
DeleteSuch a lovely photo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bride; handsome groom. Congratulations Esther and Nathan!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wedding. What was the song that they danced to at the reception and they sang it to each other?
ReplyDeleteI grew up in Lancaster and have always thought the Star Barn was beautiful! Congratulations and enjoy your stay in my hometown.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. I’m so happy for them.
ReplyDeleteSaw the pics of the bride and groom. Esther looked stunning in her Renee's Bridal Boutique down hair-do and tiara, almost like a princess from a fairytale or one of Europe's modern princess brides like Kate Middleton or Megan Markle. Can't wait to see more pics on the blog in the coming days.
ReplyDeleteWhy is she wearing a tiara? Does she think she’s queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter?
ReplyDeleteI thought she looked beautiful but I wasn't a fan of the tiara.
DeleteShe’s marrying her prince and looks beautiful!
DeleteTiaras aren't just for the Royals!! A lot brides ware them!!
DeleteShe looks beautiful, doesn't she?
Delete@9:41-agree the tiara was a bit much; but she looked gorgeous. Curious to know if her attendants had trouble bustling her train or it was design to stay kind of long?
DeleteWhy be snarky? Many brides have a tiara holding their veil. The trend of having a comb with a decorative piece attached is relatively recent.
DeleteI’d wear one every day if I could.
DeleteWhen it is YOUR wedding, YOU do not have to wear a tiara! Esther looked beautiful.
DeleteThank you 8:41 am. Some of these comments are hurtful. She is a beautiful woman and was stunning! Many brides make entrances or exits in a horsedrawn carriage. I'm happy that they could afford to do what they wanted.
DeleteShe is named after a queen.
Delete@2:27- Yes -Queen Esther! We celebrate her with stunt nights at our temple!
DeleteIt was a very big tiara; I think that’s what caught so many eyes!
DeleteWait! She’s blonde now?! Guess the bates girls got ahold of her! 😂
ReplyDeleteMO- Too Funny! :o)
DeleteIt looks great on her.
DeleteI noticed it was similar to her new sisters-in-law. It looks amazing on her.
DeleteA small guest list and sit-down dinner, very classy for a Bates affair. ! I think Nathan found a good one, but I really thought she was stunning as a brunette.
ReplyDeleteMO- The bride's family was responsible for the dinner.... Not the Bates. The grooms parents are responsible for the rehearsal dinner the dight before the wedding. Let's face it, the Bates don't even have sit-down dinner at home, let alone a wedding. :o)
Delete@1:35 Those traditional responsibilities of the bride's or groom's parents is not the gold standard any longer. Many couples share the expenses and the total costs are split equally between them and their parents. That's how we worked it with my son's wedding. We all helped with the planning. I like that there isn't pressure to follow the same rules and path as everyone else.
DeleteCongrats! Finally another Bates boy married!
ReplyDeleteWe’re any of the Bates sisters in the wedding?
ReplyDeleteNo, but the grandkids participated.
DeleteNathan + Esther WOW what a wedding!!!!!!! Esther your dress, was amazing, I love your crown, super classy, from head to Toe, U looked flawless!!!!! I love that The Bates love dancing, when done right, it is wonderful fun, and I loved it!!!! Good Wedding, the best I've seen from The Duggars+The Bates, The BEST!!!!!! I love U 2!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNo Bates sisters; just soon to be sister in law Tiff.
