With the arrival of Charlotte in June, the Smiths became a family of five. Until Kade turns three next month, Tori and Bobby will be the busy parents of three children ages two and under. Tori and Bobby might just be following in Gil and Kelly's footsteps, although their little ones aren't quite as close in age as Zach, Michael, and Erin. We just love this shot by Taryn Yager.

What a beautiful picture! Their kids are looking so grown up!
ReplyDeleteI agree, she will be pregnant next year i think.
DeleteYet she doesn't seem the type to have patience for the little ones.
Delete10:56, anyone can develop patience.
DeletePatience is a work in progress having children is a great way to work on patience...trust me!!
DeleteWhat a nice picture of a sweet family! Those children are absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteHow cool that they have one dark haired boy and one light haired boy!!
ReplyDeleteYes, that is very significant!
DeleteBeautiful family picture!!!!
DeleteBeautiful family photo!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute photo! Kade holding his sister, awe
ReplyDeleteI think she wants a big family. 8 or 10 childeren so she can teach them at home.
ReplyDeleteYou can teach any number at home.
DeleteI taught my kids at home and I only had two....
DeleteShe may want a big family, but she can teach 3 at home like lots of homeschooling moms.
DeleteAdorable family ❤️
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool when you can say "three under two" and stuff like that. I think it's very important, too. It shows they can have kids back to back! I think everyone with kids in close sequence like that must be super happy.
ReplyDeleteThis is some serious sarcasm here.
Delete7:34- Having children, close together or otherwise, does not guarantee happiness.
DeleteThis sarcastic comment is sad to me. Just let people live their lives! A lot of people would think that having 3 kids under 3 is pretty neat or, at least, noteworthy (even if they would never want that for themselves).
Delete8:27, this whole comment seems to be sarcastic.
DeleteThe blonde boy is Kolter, I believe? He looks so much a mix of Carson/Bradley and some Bates uncles. All cuties!
ReplyDeleteI admire this beautiful family the most for just living their lives, primarily away from the camera's and social media. It will pay dividends in the future for their children's character and values.
ReplyDeleteMost of us live away from cameras; some children grow up great, others struggle.
DeleteThey have been on reality TV for years, and seek attention on youtube and as influencers.
DeleteWho do you think Kolter looks like?
ReplyDeleteDad, while Kade is mum's mini me.
DeleteHe's a mix of both parents, at first he seemed to look like mom but now you can see a bit of his dad, his face shape and nose tip, while the other two look just like Bobby.
DeleteEspecially his nose tip. Also the cheeks (left one, mostly).
DeleteHe and his father have the exact same nostrils and fingers!
DeleteIn one of the interview with the older Bates girls, they all agreed that Tori would be the one to have the largest family.
ReplyDeleteKolter is a miniature Judson.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful family¡¡ God bless them!! I think Mrs. Smith is pregnant again.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Charlotte is nearly 4 months old. I think Tori is pregnant again or will be very soon.
DeleteShe should be addressed as "Mrs. Smith."
Delete@6:44 They are a very informal family whose lives are very much in the public eye. Why the formality?
DeleteWhy should she be addressed as Mrs. Smith? I don't think there's a blog rule of etiquette in Emily Post, is there?
Delete@6:44 Why “Mrs.Smith”?
DeleteIt shows respect for her as a matron and mother to address her this way.
DeleteWell, then perhaps you should address me as Mrs. Anonymous. I've been a matron and mother longer than she.
DeleteSuch a beautiful family! God's gifts to you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful family picture, the kids are adorable. Kade looks like his mum and kolton is his dads double.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to all.
Beautiful picture. This pick must of been taken not long after Charlotte was born. She's tiny in this picture and another post (Katie's bridal shower),she was bigger.
ReplyDeleteYes, looks like a newborn photo shoot picture by Taryn.
DeleteThank you for sharing this beautiful picture! Blessings to you! 😊
ReplyDeleteWow! Three babies under two years old! How do they handle them? Has her body even recovered? Life must be crazy; unless they have a nanny.
ReplyDeleteYou learn and adjust as you go along.
DeleteI hope she's keeping an eye on how she eats, hydrates, etc. I'm all for babies, but pregnancy can deplete mineral stores and give you problems shortly down the road (I learned that the hard way- I would still have had the babies, but I would have taken more vigilant care of my body if I had known then what I know now).
DeleteLearn and adjust! More like consistent sleepless nights, disorganized home and chaos.
Delete7:27, yes, you CAN learn tricks as you go along that save time and help you do things more efficiently. Yes, you CAN adjust to having another child. People do it all the time. Maybe you start using a grocery pick-up or delivery service to save time shopping. Maybe you develop a tag-team system with your spouse to streamline bedtime or bath time or meal time. Maybe you talk to other moms and get ideas to help kids sleep through the night. Maybe you swap babysitting with a friend so you both have time to nap or catch up on laundry or get your nails done. Maybe you put the kids in strollers and go on an evening walk to squeeze in some fresh air and exercise time (which promotes good sleep). There are plenty of ideas you can get from moms who have been there if you can't figure things out. Of course you can throw up your hands and dwell in chaos. But you don't have to.
Delete7:27, you learn and adjust to every new life circumstance. If you aren't doing that, find someone who can help you. And, yeah, I had five kids, and every time a new one came along I learned and adjusted to my "new normal." Sure, it was busy and I wasn't as well rested as I would have liked, but neither was it as horrible as you described (because I did, in fact, do the learning and adjusting that you think is impossible).
DeleteTori's smile is precious! She smiles with her eyes!
