Trace Bates
It sure has been quite the season for relationships in the Bates family! It wasn't too long ago that Lawson, Nathan, and Trace were all talking about their singleness and wondering when they would find love. Now, each one is either married, engaged, or in a relationship. Trace just announced that he is seeing a girl named Lydia Romeike.

ReplyDeleteThis is so wonderful to hear. He seems to be a very nice young man, and he was so heartbroken about his break-up with Chaney. It is all part of growing up,but that doesn't make it any easier. Best wishes to Trace!
ReplyDeleteGreat! 2 weddings in 2021 and another 2 in 2022 hopefully,I knew after he broke up with Cheney he wouldn't take long finding someone else, he's quite a catch,handsome, kind, considerate and fun loving, can't wait to see pictures of his girlfriend.

Glad you have a new love interest in your life after your break up almost 2 years ago with your last girlfriend (I'm sorry if I don't her name so please comment if you remember). May God bless you with a future together as husband and wife within the next year or so. To think if Trace marries Lydia someday, then there will only be 8 Bates kids left at home. Speaking of which, Jackson and Warden are next to court when they find someone their interested. Do you ever think that one day there will be a Bates/Duggar courtship with the maybe Johannah Duggar courting one of the remaining 3 Bates boys and Jackson Duggar courting Addy or Ellie? Only the Lord knows.
ReplyDeleteThe young lady that captures Jackson's heart will be TREMENDOUSLY BLESSED!!❤️ When I saw the episode of how WELL he was prepared for that camping trip I was impressed! If I were a young woman his type y head would definitely be turned by Jackson! I'm the same way, I always want to be prepared for whatever I may need.
DeleteI agree it would be interesting to see any Duggar-Bates match in the future. Now it seems like the kids who are still at home are too young to think about dating.

DeleteBeing that they just announced a 'special friend', he must be ready to propose soon. They always do that. The announcement is always behind real time in the relationship. A marriage by Easter, I predict.
ReplyDeleteWhat's interesting is the Romeike family is originally from Germany, and they moved to the US because in Germany every kid has to attend school, and it is prohibited to have kids homeschooled. So parents moved to the US to avoid possible removal of children from their care. That info that is in the media says that they are still in some legal battle to stay in the US.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, she's one of those Romeike's! I read about all the nonsense the German government put them through back when it was happening. That's so interesting that he's dating one of their kids!
DeleteThat was exactly my reaction, 7:04!! I was wondering the other day what ever happened to the family, and couldn't remember their name to look it up! I am praying whatever obstacles are in their way will be removed, and that they will be allowed to stay. So happy to hear one of the daughters is dating Trace!

ReplyDeleteI used to be a Trace Bates fan, but my opinion of him lowered after he and Nathan attended the Trump rally January 6th. After that, I viewed him as a little fanatical. I was very disappointed in the two brothers. But, I guess I should let that go, and if this girlfriend respects him in spite of that day, then all is ok.

DeleteOkay, now I know that the world is not as big as I thought!!! I`ve read this blog for about five or six years. When I saw the name of Traces girlfriend it seemed familiar. I searched her and her family and five minutes later I realized that she and I have the same great-grandfather!!! Imagine that! And I even don´t live in the US because I'm from Germany!
