Brandon Keilen's trilogy is complete! He announced the release of the first book in a three-part series, The Quest of Quinton, in October 2019. The second book became available for purchase in December 2020, and now the third installment is out. Below is a list of the titles, with links to purchase each on Michael and Brandon's website.

Congratulations Brandon and Michaella! I haven't read the 2nd book yet but I have read the first one with my family. Hope we can get the second and third books from my local library like we did with the first.
ReplyDeleteWhat library did you get the first at? I can't find it online at any library;(
DeleteAnythink Libraries in Adams County,Colorado where I live. Not sure if it's still there or not. Try inter-library loan if your local library does that.
DeleteThat's great!
ReplyDeleteI would like to know more about this. Is it Christian and about modesty and manly leadership?
ReplyDeleteIt's Christian and it seems to be about knights and stuff like that. The links above give descriptions of each book. I might add these books to my list of books to read this year since I'm spending less time on social media(or at least trying).
DeleteI've read the first one and its based on the Bible. Everything Brandon writes focuses on his and Michaella's Christian faith.
DeleteIt's a fantasy story but focuses on God as The Light.
Lol
DeleteIt is Christian fiction for children/youth. My son loved the first book. We just ordered the second and third and can't wait to read them. Here is the description given with the first book so you can see what the trilogy will be about:
DeleteQuinton is very excited. The young boy is making his way toward the Keep, a special fortress at the center of the realm. There, his father—a knight—waits to guide him through the fortress’s locked doors to behold a powerful treasure that is being guarded inside—the Golden Scroll.
However, before Quinton can fully discover the power of this scroll, he is suddenly caught in the middle of an enemy attack. The forces of the Dark Master have come to destroy the Golden Scroll, which is the one thing that can stop them from conquering the land. Through a narrow escape, Quinton and his father flee the Keep with the special scroll in hand. But its absence from the Keep sets a new dilemma in motion—the empty fortress is now used by the Dark Master to spread an unrestrained cloud of darkness. Unless Quinton can discover the Golden Scroll’s power, and return it to the Keep, the land will soon fall under the shadow of tyranny.
In this young person’s tale, the son of a knight begins a quest in which he discovers the key to overcoming the dark forces that threaten his land.
It is an adventure story with a considerable amount of symbolism. If you are a Christian, you will recognize the symbolism and understand it. If you are not a Christian, I doubt one would pick up on the symbolism, but would definitely still enjoy it as an adventure story. I have only read the first of three books. It was very good! I have the second book but have not had time to read it yet. I am looking forward to following along and seeing how the trilogy progresses. Boys and girls will like this book, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteWonderful news! So pleased for Brandon!
ReplyDeleteWell done! It’s not easy to write a book and we’re proud of you! Wishing you much success in all pursuits.
ReplyDeleteI would like to know if Brandon makes any money on these books. I'm sure he gets some money as an author but I don't know that it's enough to support Michael and him. I've heard Michael is working as an Licensed Practical Nurse but that job pays little more than minimum wage. Without the Bates tv show money, I hope they can earn income that can make up for the loss.
ReplyDeleteWow way to put down every author
DeleteMichaella also has an online baby and children's store called Keilen Corner. She seems to make a good go of it selling stuff there. It's not an Etsy store just to be clear. Just Google it.
DeleteWhy do you think he doesn't have a job?
DeleteRemember when it was poor manners to discuss others' personal matters?
DeleteWhat ages does someone think these books are geared toward?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Thank you Brandon for all of the time and effort you put into bringing the truth of God's Word to a younger generation. I pray that God blesses you and Michaela as you have blessed others
ReplyDeleteGOOOOOOD LUUUUUCK Brandon!!!!!!! I love how much, U love English!!!!!!!
