Carlin Stewart's April 9th due date is quickly approaching. She is currently scheduled for an induction at the end of the month, but as everyone knows, babies arrive on their own time, so perhaps Baby Boy Stewart will make his appearance early. After all, big sister Layla arrived well ahead of her due date.
Carlin continues to work hard at the boutique with Whitney and Mama B (Kelly). Be sure to check out the Bates Sisters Boutique's Easter line.

Why are you calling Kelly "Mama B"?
ReplyDeleteI think the daughters are calling her Mama B in their vlogs
DeleteThat's what I always wonder...why does Carlin call her mom that(in her IG). maybe Evan by why Carlin?
DeleteI know! Carlin refers to her like that all the time. C'mon she's your Mom!
DeleteI believe that was Kelly’s own choice of name for her grandkids to call her by. “Mom B.” Or “Mama B.” Instead of something like granny or grandma
DeleteBut she is not their mother...seems confusing. It may be an endearment but also confusing. Just one mom...
DeleteMaybe they call her that in a similar fashion to the way they all call Gil's mother Mama Jane.
DeleteI noticed recently that Alyssa called Mama Jane, simply "Jane". I was very shocked as I always thought southern ladies were much more attuned to etiquette and traditional manners. My southern friends always refer to older woman they are "not" related to as "Miss...so, and so" I couldn't imagine calling my grandmother by her first name. Whatever floats your boat. I am also surprised that Alyssa is the only one in the family without a southern accent.
DeleteVery good points @ 7:57
DeleteWhy does she need to be induced??!!!
ReplyDeleteShe has a clot disorder (I think Erin has it too) and it's unsafe at the end of the pregnancy, they have to come out earlier to prevent problems.
DeleteMaybe the baby is measuring really big and her doctor does not want her to go to her due date.
DeleteShe has the 3 or 4 blood clotting issues and it's safer to induce a little earlier, rather than let her go full term and labor spontaneously.
DeleteI was wondering the same thing. I was induced with my first child, I would never recommend it to anyone. So much harder on your body.
DeleteBecause of her blood disorder.
DeleteShe has a blood clotting disorder.
DeleteCarlin has blood disorder(s) as do at least one of her sisters. Her doctors have closely monitored her throughout her pregnancies and schedule the delivery for her and baby boy's safety.
DeleteShe has a blood clotting disorder (well actually 2 clotting disorders) and the risk for clots increases toward the end of pregnancy.
DeleteShe said it's because of her blood disorder.
DeleteThat is my question also just curious if her due date is not till April why be induced early?
ReplyDeleteHEY CRALIN GOOD LUCK, put your feet up, and take great care of U!!!!!! Make sure U, do whatever U can to make the birth as painless as possible!!!!!!!! I love The Blue Stew Crew+3!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCralin?
DeleteOOPs I am dyslexic, so I try my best, LOL Thank U, CARLIN, THAT IS WHAT I MEAN!!!! Carlin ...!!!!!
DeleteI think they meant Carlin!!!!
DeletePraying for a safe arrival of Baby Boy Stewart.🙏👶🏼💙 Hope he arrives closer to his due date and not 3 weeks early like big sister Layla. I remember that she came early because Dr. Vick was concerned when he saw the ultrasound and thought Carlin was at risk for having a stillbirth because the machines were not detecting a heartbeat or movement in the womb. Plus it didn't help matters with her inherited blood clotting disorder and risk of preeclampsia. Hope Baby Boy is bigger than Layla and his birth weight is more than 5lbs. (hoping for a safer 6lb. mark). Also hope that Carlin and Evan are prepared with preemie clothes and diapers as they were not with Layla because they didn't expect her so early and also hope and pray he won't suffer from jaundice and breathing issues that require an extended stay in the hospital in the NICU. Please update us on the blog ladies when Carlin goes into labor or gets induced and baby boy's arrival info (date, time, weight and heighth and name they chose for him).
ReplyDeleteYay come soon little guy! Be a Pisces like Uncle Travis, and like your Stewart Aunt.
ReplyDeleteBecause of her high risk blood clotting disorder. They can’t let her go overdue
ReplyDeleteApril 9th is my birthday, hope baby boy makes arrival with no issues!
ReplyDeletePraying for a safe delivery.🙏
ReplyDeleteMy due date is the exact same one, and I will be induced at the end of the month too. It's a recommendation from my doctors, due to high risk of complications, mostly because of an uncontrolled health problem that can affect the baby in many ways. The baby and myself will need some extra care and multiple tests done right after birth. I'm very grateful for free healthcare here in Canada, this would be multiple tens of thousands of dollars. Send me good vibes, I will think about the Stewart family for sure.
ReplyDeletePrayers:)
DeleteTo 7:34pm,I'm sending prayers for you and your precious baby as well.
DeleteHas anyone ordered from their boutique? I'm wondering about the quality of the clothes and the sizing. I've ordered some things from NeeSee's and other boutiques and the sizing can be tricky. Sometimes the fabrics are cheap too. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteDo we ever see any of them wearing the clothes they sell, other than to take photos for their store? That tells me a lot.
DeleteGood observation. Does make you wonder about that.
DeleteI ordered a dress. It had an empire waist that had scratchy elastic on the inside of the dress, and I thought the fabric was cheap for the cost of it. I returned it, and had to pay the shipping cost to do so. Would not order from there again.
DeleteMost clothing these days is made of cheap fabric, no matter where you get it. I stick to name brands I trust from department stores, even if I have to order online. Other than that, you're buying something sight unseen. There's been an elastic shortage for 2 years due to everyone making pandemic masks, plus the elastic being made overseas, so I'm not surprised the elastic was inferior.
DeleteI don't order from any online retailer that requires the customer to pay the cost of return shipping. I only order from major department stores with good return policies and Amazon Prime.
DeletePraying for the baby and you. Prayers delivery is not to soon or to late. I really miss The Bates on TV and also The Duggars. Would love for all to come back on cable TV with new shows and new seasons.
ReplyDeleteNatasha b
I also wish the Bates were back on TV. So happy for Carlin and Evan and Layla. They are wonderful parents!
ReplyDeleteI get tge Bates were I live. I.ve been watching season 11 and it's good. Can wait to watch Nathan's wedding then Katie's
DeleteGood luck and god bless your family and your new little boy!
ReplyDeleteMichaels also does not have a southern accent. It is strange to me how children who grew up in the same household, had the same parents could speak so differently.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I don't think any of the Bates adult daughters and Whitney would ever actually wear any of their store merchandise...especially since they never have other than modeling it for others to buy.
Michael definitely has a southern accent.
DeleteMiss the show so much. Won't even watch anything on UP channel.
ReplyDeleteOur granddaughter's baby was due March 23rd, but baby girl arrived March 15th. She has a big brother 2 and 1/2. It was a home natural birth and the baby is so content and sleeps a lot! That date is also our daughter's birthday! We pray Carlin has a good delivery, too.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless You Stewart Family, praying for a healthful and easy delivery!
