Kolter Smith turned two years old yesterday. The Bates already have three grandchildren birthdays to celebrate at the end of March (Kolter, Zoey, and Everly). If Carlin delivers her son before the end of the month, that will be a fourth.

I can't get over these names. What ever happened to names like John and Tom and Kathy and Ann? You can't even tell gender from most of the names they pick now.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately John, Tom, Kathy and Ann are names from an older generation. People in their 50's or so. Currently hearing the above mentioned names plus Oliver, Eleanor, Evelyn, Lily, Ezra etc. All are excellent names.
Delete@1:06 Those names you mentioned are all from 100 or more years ago! There's nothing modern about them at all. Oliver Holmes (and Twist), Eleanor Roosevelt, Evelyn Waugh, Lily Braun, Ezra Pound, etc.

ReplyDeleteHappy 2nd Birthday Kotler Gray,the only Bates grandchild born in the midst of COVID-19 lockdown in 2020! Saw a video recently on Erin and Chad's YouTube channel that he and big brother Kade got their room redone to be a big boy room. Glad to see 2 brother's share a small room together and get along well. Hope they continue to have a special relationship as brother's as they grow older.
