Once upon a time, Alyssa was the only Bates child who lived outside of Knoxville, but now, a handful of Gil and Kelly's kids live in other places. Erin and Chad will soon be added to that number when they move their family to Florida. The parents of 19 are going to be kept busy vising all their children (and growing number of grandchildren) who live far away!
Last week, Gil and Kelly (aka Granny and PawPaw) spent a few days in the Orlando area with the Websters.

Who else lives far away besides Alyssa, and soon Erin? I thought everybody else lived in Knoxville area.

DeleteIs Orlando Florida where Chad and Erin are moving too?
ReplyDeleteI think it's somewhere 1 hour away from what I heard.
DeleteAm I right with 3 soon to be 4 bates family's not in knoxville I'm not sure where Nathan lives though
ReplyDeleteHe and Esther are based in Knoxville half the time in a travel RV and travel back and forth between their families in TN and PA. They said when they got married, they wanted to travel around the country and see America while their young.
DeleteI’m not sure where Nathan lives, either.
DeleteIt’s so easy to see how much Granny and Grandpa love Alyssa, John and those grandchildren!!! Their joy jumps off the page and the granddaughters have so much fun with them!!!
ReplyDeleteHow come you aren't posting on the Duggar Blog anymore? It's been almost a month now.
ReplyDeleteYes, I’ve noticed that too. I kind of wish they would release a statement for the future of the Duggar blog, if they are planning to move forward with it. Neither way it would it be nice to know where they stand.
DeleteI know, I wish we could see some family updates.
DeleteI've noticed it as well. My guess is that since Josh got arrested in April 2021, the Duggar Blog has probably seen an increase in negative comments. Hopefully, now that Josh has been sentenced the amount of negative comments on the Duggar Blog will decrease and with less comments to police, Lily and Ellie can get back to posting on a more regular basis. I would love to hear some news, about the other 18 Duggar siblings.
DeleteIs PawPaw a Southern thing? I've never heard that nickname before when referring to one's grandfather.
ReplyDeleteIt's common in the South along with "Pap-Paw".
DeleteYes it is Southern. I am from the South and have several family members who have been called PawPaw by their grandchildren. I love the special regional names that have been used for generations. Often, a grandparent name like PawPaw will be a throw back in memory of beloved grandparent who has passed on.
DeleteKELLY IS AN AMAZINGLY KIND PERSON!!!!!!!
