Alyssa Webster and Kelly Bates
Earlier this month, Alyssa Webster and her four girls made the trek up to Tennessee to spend some quality time with the family. Alyssa posted two YouTube videos sharing some of the highlights of their trip (links below). The second video features Jana Duggar, as well as Jackson's girlfriend.

Watched both vlogs and really love that despite the different lifestyle Alyssa lives in Florida,at least her family still loves and respects her and her them. She really loves her parents, siblings in-laws and nieces and nephews and that's great.😊❤️👍 Good to see Jana in this video. Is she living in TN now with Josiah and Lauren or is she just visiting? Loved seeing how daring she has become wearing jeans and enjoying her freedom as a single woman from her dad's strict rules of wearing only skirts and dresses. She can thank her younger sisters like Jinger and Jill for helping her find her freedom to be who she wants to be and wear what she pleases. And great to meet Jackson's new girlfriend Emerson Wells.

ReplyDeleteI don't get it why Alyssa made the effort visiting her family in Tenn when she didn't go to her brother's wedding in California because of budget. She even made the effort visiting her grandparents in SC. I wonder if she's going to her brother Trace's wedding or not? I really do hope she will think twice and change her heart someday in the future.

DeleteIt's a lot cheaper to drive to TN from FL and stay with family than it is to fly all the way to California for a few days. When you get married on the other side of the country your not going to expect that everyone can make it. Especially with a large family.
DeleteSC and TN are a lot closer than California. Much cheaper travel.
DeleteBig difference driving from FL to TN with children vs FL to CA!!! It would take several days of driving or several very expensive plane tickets. Plus she has a place to stay when she visits family.
DeleteI don't think it's appropriate to judge someone else's heart when you have no knowledge of what is actually in their heart.

DeleteNo need to be so judgmental. Tennessee and South Carolina are much closer to Florida, so shorter trips. California is clear across the other side of the country.

DeleteAlyssa really shows up and puts so much emphasis on physically being with family! I love the kids gifted their parents some much needed and appreciated furniture!!! Super thoughtful!
ReplyDeleteHaving been "gifted" with furniture in the past, I honestly think the kids would have done better to let their parents pick out the furniture themselves and then the kids pay for what their parents chose.
