Katie and Travis Clark gathered with loved ones yesterday near their New Jersey home to reveal the gender of their baby...a girl! Some of the Bates traveled from Tennessee for the occasion, including Gil and Kelly, Michael Keilen, and the Stewarts. Katie is 15 weeks pregnant.

wow congrats on your baby girl!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are confident of the gender at 15 weeks?
ReplyDeleteA relative found out & revealed the gender around 7 weeks! From a blood test. I was shocked as I had no idea they could tell that early. But the baby was just born and the gender was correct.
DeleteCongratulations to you both ๐ I have been saying prayers ๐ for you both ๐ and your whole family.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations๐
ReplyDeleteIt looks like they did a sneak peak test. I would not trust it. I would suggest an ultrasound at 18-19 weeks just to be safe.
ReplyDeleteDon't they usually do one later on anyway?
DeleteThey had the blood test done at a hospital rather than doing the at home test so it should be accurate
DeleteA blood test is actually more accurate than an ultrasound for telling the gender of a baby.
DeleteSo happy for Katie and Travis! They will make great parents for a little girl!
ReplyDeletePraise God for your new blessing! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a sweet baby girl. God is good. ๐
ReplyDeleteI was kind of hoping for a boy since their are so many more granddaughters than grandsons. Maybe Alyssa will have a boy.
ReplyDeleteProbably not because she's very sick with morning sickness like her 4 previous pregnancies, which all resulted in girls.
DeleteI just hope she and the baby are healthy. As a two time open heart surgery survivor, I know it’s not a given.
DeleteI never understand why people think morning sickness has anything to do with the sex of the baby. I had severe morning sickness with all five of my kids- three boys and two girls. A friend had no morning sickness with her two- a girl and a boy. Every pregnancy is different, whether one is carrying a girl or a boy.
DeleteI had one of each and I was really sick with both pregnancies.
DeleteAnybody know the boy/girl count for the grandkids off the top of their heads?
ReplyDeleteWhen this baby arrives, Kelly & Gill will have 17 granddaughters and 6 grandsons.
DeleteI was just figuring this out yesterday. Hahah! I believe it's Boys: 6. Girls 17. One: Currently unknown (Baby Webster). What wonderful blessings!
DeleteWhoa!!! I didn't realize the counts were so far apart. Thanks for doing the counting for me. :)
DeleteAww, congratulations Travis and Katie on a little girl!๐ถ๐ผ๐ Had a feeling it was a girl the way she felt with the morning sickness. Can't wait to find out soon what John and Alyssa are having too.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on their girl. I'm thinking Alyssa is having a boy then
ReplyDeletenot sure why people have to have gender revial. what ever happened the element of surprise. just a thought God bless this child may it grow in the love of the saviour
ReplyDeleteBecause it's FUN, that's why. And because it's way easier to get clothes and nursery ready before the baby comes than after.
DeleteKatie seems like she will do well with a little girl
ReplyDeleteMiss the show!!
ReplyDeleteA Girl!!!!!!! I love the way U told the gender!!!! Please take good care of U!!!! I love U 3!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to just announcing the gender of the baby? Everyone seems to be trying to out do the previous reveal. Seems a bit much to me.
ReplyDeleteI see nothing wrong in having fun with it.
DeleteIt's fun! I love gender reveals. Though I have never done one for any of my four kids, haha!
DeleteCongratulations to Katie and Travis!!!! When this baby arrives Kelly & Gil will have 17 granddaughters and 6 grandsons.
ReplyDeleteKenna Joy was born this week to Nathan and Esther
