It’s almost go time! At their 35-week obstetrics appointment, Katie and Travis Clark were told by Katie’s doctor that Hailey will make her appearance sooner than expected. Katie is progressing quickly and will likely go into labor within the next couple weeks. They share the details in their latest YouTube video.
Many Blessings to y'all
ReplyDeleteVery excited for Travis and Katie to become parents soon! I know they will be a great daddy and mommy to Hailey James.ππ§π»π¦±π±π»♀️πΆπΌ Glad Evan and Carlin and their 2 kids are there and same with Mama Bates to support Travis and Katie at this time. Guess that means the annual Bates Family I Love You Day celebration will have to be postponed to after Hailey and maybe Rhett are born on account Katie is due any day and Alyssa not far behind.
ReplyDeleteAlyssa is due April 3rd. I doubt that they would wait till beyond that for I love you celebration but I guess, who knows….

DeleteI'm not sure having a houseful of company (even if they are family) is so great. My mother went to my sister's to "help" her. After fidgeting around my sister's house for over 3 weeks and driving my sister crazy, my niece arrived two days after my sister's due date. Later my sister said she wished Mom had waited until she gave birth before arriving.
DeleteOh the exciting world of arriving babies! I wish doctors wouldn’t say things like baby will arrive any day because they just don’t always know! Yes, she might, but this is her first baby and she very well might not for awhile! And Carlin even rushed up there! With my first, I was hospitalized for a week at 32 weeks and told daily that baby was going to come right then… and then she was born late!
ReplyDeleteYeah. Some pregnancies go faster than others. lol
ReplyDeleteExciting!!! Prayers for a safe birth for baby and Mama. Such a sweet couple who are going to be great parents. π
ReplyDeleteObviously the doctor will have seen signs such as perhaps baby's positioning, contractions and where the cervix is at so it's good to be ready early but it's true babies come when they are ready. I was a month early, surprising my parents. I would see my doctor for the "last" visit before my babies showed up and he would keep saying I could go another week or so-NOT! Mine were all a bit early- from 5- about 9 days. FOr my youngest, I saw the dr. that day when he said I might go a week or longer or so, well he came that evening!
ReplyDeleteYes. Babies come on their own scedule. However, my doctor pulled the "any day" stuff on me for over a month before my due date. Then my son arrived 10 days after the due date. I'm not sure having a houseful of relatives prior to giving birth would be my cup of tea.
DeletePrayers going up for a quick and safe delivery, as well as a healthy baby and Mommy.
