Rhett Coming Soon

Alyssa and John Webster are preparing to welcome their long-awaited baby boy, Rhett Alan Webster! Along with Kelly, the expectant parents are officially checked in at the hospital and ready to meet their first son. Alyssa and John announced the pregnancy in September, followed by the gender reveal in October and the name reveal in February

Rhett's due date is April 3rd, which made fans wonder if he would share a birthday with one of the four Bates grandchildren born in late March (Kolter Smith on March 25th, Zade Stewart on March 27th, Zoey Webster on March 28th, and Everly Paine on March 30th). But it looks like the little man will get his own special day...at least for now.

When you think of it, pray for a healthy delivery for Alyssa and Rhett.

Update: Rhett arrived at 7:03pm!

  2. Oh yay! Saw the unusually short weekly video on their channel yesterday and knew something was up. Guess Alyssa's prediction of going into labor this weekend came true and throwing up was definitely a sign he was coming soon. Guess those crazy power walks worked and Rhett will be 1 month and 1 or 2 days younger than his cousin Hailey(depending on when Alyssa's fully dilated). Prayers for the family.🙏

  7. He might not be their last child if Alyssa is able to get pregnant again. God has his own plans.

    1. Unless they're infertile, people can control whether or not they get pregnant with proper use of contraceptives.

    2. That sounds lovely 12:09 but God's not the one who has to get up with crying children at 2am, or house them, or feed them, or clothe them, or pay for their medical and dental expenses, or pay for their educations.

    3. Sure if they don't use birth control.

    4. Alyssa has said that this will be their last baby because she has struggled with hyperemesis gravidarum and it's been getting worse each pregnancy. So they don't plan on trying for another baby & it's unlikely that they would change their mind. But, even with birth control or NFP it's certainly possible they could have another surprise baby. I believe that Rhett was a surprise

  9. This couple has stated that they use a form of birth control. They were laxed in it's use thus resulting in Rhett. They simply need to be responsible in their reproductive life in the future if they wish to not expand their family further. Plain and simple. We have the tools to use for this; not rocket science.

    1. I think they would say that a good share of those "tools" violate their religious beliefs, among them are the most effective forms of contraception.

    2. Since they think "God is in control of the womb", I'm not sure exactly what they plan on doing to keep from having more children.

  10. If you don't use the birth control you have, it won't work.
