Check In with the Clarks

How are things going for Katie and Travis Clark, who recently moved to Tennessee? In their most recent YouTube video, they share news from their anatomy scan for Baby Boy Clark, and they play pickle ball with Gil and Kelly Bates and some of Katie's younger siblings. Later, they join Zach Bates, who is a real estate agent, to look for houses.

    1. Ellie, my tablet has been acting up so my reply first reply is missing words making it not make any sense. Here is what I was trying to say : If new photos of the family are not supplied then the page can't be updated. She can't just lift photos and put them here. I'm sure she would need permission first.

  2. Zach is now a real estate agent? When did that happen? I thought he was running the on-line botique and doing cooking shows.

    1. Since whenever he chose to start. Not every single detail of their life has to publicly shared. They aren’t obligated to share their lives w/us.

    2. Anon 4:54 Thing is Zach made this big deal out of quitting his LEO job and staying home to be a "first class" dad and not spending a lot of time away from his family. Real estate agents spend a LOT of time working and are away from home a LOT. Makes no sense at all.

    4. I agree @4:54. We don't need to know everything. It's none of our business.

  3. Zach's entered the wrong field. That profession is changing and it will be much harder to earn a living.

    1. Wherever God leads him, is what he he needs to be, even if busybodies don't like it.

    2. I agree 7:30. Also, the real estate business does not need more agents who have no education background in business or finance. I've seen people like that at work, and they are the worst. They confuse the clients and often lead them down the wrong paths. Some have made so many mistakes that closings can't happen. Enthusiasm alone is not what is needed in that profession. It's not where you should turn when you've exhausted other careers. Plus as you've pointed out, home sales are changing and more people are opting for cash offers by corporations instead of private sales.

  6. Saw their last video and I'm glad that Travis and Katie are thinking about buying a house down the road once baby boy arrives and the lease on their apartment ends next year. I wouldn't want to be living in an apartment with two under two,at least long term. I didn't know Zach became a real estate agent on the side of helping manage the Bate's Sisters Boutique and being a stay at home dad and cooking on YouTube. I wonder why he decided not to stick to tree trimming on the side with his dad's tree business? Thought he quit laws enforcement to take over his dad's business in the first place. Guess he didn't like it after all.🤔

    1. Nothing wrong with apartment living. I did it with my two. Apartments are homes…

  7. So they're looking to buy a house. Guess Travis' music career is going well. It seems like Zach has made another career change and now a real estate agent. I hope he knows that means working long hours and much time away from his home.

  8. Congrats to Zach on his new endeavor! I have been selling real estate (part time) as well as work full time job for years. I don’t know why people assume and make negative comments. It’s a profession that is flexible and can fit around other life commitments.

  9. I love your family!!! I would love to come to TN and hang out and worship with the whole family. My family has watched all of the episodes and I follow on social media. Thank you all for keeping your followers updated on the family.

  10. I thought Zach wanted to stay at home and be a "first class dad". Now he's a real estate agent which means working long hours away from home. Oh well he can always change careers again if that gets old.
