Lawson and Tiffany Bates are officially parents! Sweet little William Daniel Bates has arrived safe and sound...and with a full head of hair. The first segment of his birth story was just uploaded to Lawson and Tiffany's YouTube channel.

ReplyDeleteTiffany has a lot of growing up to. more worried about putting make on then getting to hospital. has much to learn about motherhood.
DeleteMaybe putting make up on made her feel better. Tiffany act cool as a cucumber and being her first baby and married into a big family she will get lots of advice.
Delete12:25. I put make-up on before going to the hospital. I also put make-up on in the hospital. I put make-up on daily with my newborns even when I was up all night. The slovenly way young mothers and women look today is just so uncalled for. The “I haven’t showered in 3 days/no make-up/ sweat pants/unkempt” look women seem to be proud of is nothing more than laziness. Somehow Mothers in the 50’s/60’s/70’s/80’s/90’s…all seemed to get showered, dressed, put on a bit of make-up, comb their hair and take care of their children.

Watched the vlog when it premiered last night (7/30) and clearly at the beginning you see July 19 come across the video as to when Tiff's water broke. So from what I'm getting is that the baby came that very night on the 19th of July,making him almost 2 weeks old already.
ReplyDeleteWell they finally fessed up and admitted he was born on the 19th but that still doesn't explain why they were pretending on July 25th he hadn't arrived. I'm not on board with their antics.
DeleteProduction time folks! First they have to put their vids together. Second they post in chronological order. That's the logical explanation for why it's been two weeks since the birth. Having a newborn takes up a lot of time folks. Cut them some slack.
DeleteHaving a newborn SHOULD take up your time. Producing and editing videos about it should NOT. Tiffany and Lawson should be taking this time to recover, rest, and get into the swing of new parenthood, not worrying about producing content (yet they are). You can tell that fame is a big priority for both of them and always has been.

ReplyDeleteI am of a strong opinion that these family vlogging channels on YouTube should be banned. Systematic exploitation of minors, even before they've exited the womb, is disturbing on many levels. Children simply cannot give informed consent and have no clue as to the pitfalls of this. It really speaks to the hypocrisy of some folks who claim to be all about "family values", yet the value appears focused on the money to be made.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on William Daniel’s birth. He's a beautiful boy!! I wonder if they will nickname him. Lawson is William as is Gil, Nathan’s birth name is Kenneth Nathan. Why not use the first names instead? Confusing down the lone.
