Harvey's Arrival

Update: Harvey is now home and doing well.

Harvey Gray Clark is here! He arrived later in the evening on September 29th, 2024, weighing 6 lbs 4 oz and measuring 19 inches long. His oxygen levels were dropping at birth, so he is receiving treatment at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. Katie and Travis Clark say that Harvey is improving. Harvey weighed just 3 oz more than older sister Hailey, who was born in February 2023.

  5. Why are so many Bates babies ending up in the NICU? I feel like it’s happening more often than not. Ate their mothers getting proper prenatal care?

    1. Could be emf exposure. All electronic devices give off radiation. Small doses of course not enough generally to do any harm but it's the accumulative effect. When you're exposed every day all day the levels of emf build up in your body and can negatively affect your health and your baby's. In China, pregnant women wear emf protective clothing. These Bates women are plugged in all the time. When they're pregnant, they need to limit their exposure to their devices. Unplug the TV. Put their cell phones on air plane mode and when they're on, don't carry on their body. Keep it a few feet away. Limit their time using the internet.

    2. But what about the money? A camera is probably in their face 24/7.

    3. Yes @ 5:29. I cringe when i see these pregnant women holding their cell phones and i"m sure its a 5g phone. When you're pregnant you need to be so careful about emf exposure and unfortunately in today's world that's hard to do, but yes there are things one can do to cut down on exposure. Its good to just cut back all the time anyway, but especially while pregnant. I really wish these Bates girls would figure that out. I think it would do wonders for their health and their childrens'.

    4. I’m sure growing up unplugged that they aren’t plugged in all the time. Sometimes babies are born a little early and need a little help. I’m sure it’s not what they’re doing to themselves but that their babies are just having some early delivery issues or maybe just a little bad luck. If you notice the babies aren’t in the NICU for any lengths of time, just less than a day or little more. Just look back and you’ll see that a lot of babies are there for shorter stays than you think. It’s a precaution to have them in there not an actual stay! I’m sure of it!!

  8. What will these couples do without these drama NICU pictures within hours of birth? Tough to make a living with an average run-of-the-mill birth story.

    1. To 12:12,when people care about you and your family, you tend to share what's going on. Just like Facebook. He needed help with oxygen, so he got help with oxygen. If it isn't something your interested in hearing about then you should go read a book that interests you or donate your time to a worthy cause. Have a wonderful day 😊

    2. I know. The last update is that Harvey is now homme and is starring in his birth story which will run to at least two parts.

    3. 12:12. Big difference with sharing what’s going on with your brand new baby in NICU with family and friends versus monetizing your NICU baby. Within hours of Harvey’s birth Travis and Katie were posting “part 1” of their “dramatic birth story”. While Harvey was in NICU they were picking “dramatic” music and editing and Little Baby was only hours old.

    4. Sooo true. He would have beeded them by his side while they were putting it all online!! I would just not watch it. If the numbers of clicks dropped, maybe it would make them think about what Mattersburg.

    5. There are people who film them who wrote that stuff up for them, I’m sure. Because when they happened you go to the NICU to sit while they care for your child then you can go on to their room after you clean and sterilize yourself before going in to see your baby. Then you get some sleep after your with your child at that time. For that day and possibly the next your whole world if whether the baby would be getting better and you don’t have time to put together a story. If you think they actually just left their baby alone so they could put together an interesting and on the edge of your seats story than you have no idea what a child being in NICU is?

    1. Yes, it’s the way to make lots of money. Very sad. I hope these children are under some kind of Coogan Law so they get paid for their work.

  13. Congratulations to Katie and Travis on the birth of their first son.πŸ‘ΆπŸ’™ So glad he is here and doing well despite the scare with his oxygen levels at birth. Usually it's just a small setback and when this happens, babies usually bounce back fast and go home within a few days without anymore assistance with oxygen if born full term. He is probably home now I'm sure meeting big human sister Hailey and dog sister Remi.πŸ‘§πŸ©

    1. People are so weird. They sound like twin names. I really wish people would quit criticizing Harvey's name. You all have already given your opinion on that. Drop it already.
