Stewarts Take a Disney Cruise

Carlin and Evan Stewart and their children just returned from their first Disney Cruise. Layla Stewart turned five years old while they were at sea, while Zade Stewart will turn three in March. You can hear all about the magical trip on the family's latest YouTube video, which is 30 minutes long.

  1. I was not surprised that the Stewarts booked a Disney cruise for a "5 year old's birthday". Who does this? They booked an outside stateroom with a balcony area too. The whole "first class treatment", beauty parlor for Layla, etc...I noticed that the kids had all new clothes and shoes for this trip, most likely including the parents too. The Stewarts are on their way to having no retirement savings for themselves as this interest and views on their videos won't last the test of time like it is now. They spend all of what they make IMO. The boutique provides "tip money" for them but their real income seems to be from the subscriptions and views of their videos. The children are sweet and innocent, of course, but they will grow up as being spoiled with material things.

  2. How fun for them. I'm a big fat chicken and you won't see me on a cruise. That's just too much water for me!😆

    1. I love the water, but a cruise is not my jam.... I've always thought of them as floating Petri dishes.

  3. I'm surprised they would support Disney in any way. But I'm not surprised that evangelicals bend all their own rules when it's something they really want, whether it's a drink or a movie or a cruise. They will always find a way to justify their actions before going back to judging.

    1. That's human nature. And wrong when anyone does it.

  4. In this vlog, Evan commented that they needed Zade's ID, birth certificate, for this cruise. They didn't have a copy, for some reason at home. Carlin didn't want to be the one who had to go to the government office to get a certified copy of it, so Evan went. Of course, she wouldn't want to do anything real or official, leave those "hard grown up things" to Evan. I doubt that Carlin would be able to run the business of her life without him. Just a big kid IMO. Sadly, this is her parents' fault.
